I've finally manged to get 1 (just one) project I've been dying to get to completed!

Nova my dear, it is time!

Jazzy and Prowl are done.

*cries*

I swear to god I'm jinxed- "Oh awesome, I finally got a commission from someone andddd- JOB" Ok, we'll space time out right. Nothing bad's happening- HOSPITALS-JOB-FAMILY STUFF-*falls on floor* We're understaffed at work, so I've been doing about 9 hours each day (which is yay for overtime, not so much with the long commute and the overall lack of coworkers actually wanting to work... and I'm not looking at the senior staff on that one...). But I stay back and make phone calls and fill in the massive piles of data we need just to keep track of everything that happens in our labs. I'm sure my supervisors appreciate it, but it would be nice to earn a dollar more an hour and to see some other people not talking as much. They can spend (I'm not joking) 2 hours just talking about social stuff. They don't even do all of their own work. They dump it into the call bin for someone else to make later on (which delays stuff and is practically telling our patients 'my conversation about my shoes and hair are more important than the 2 minute phone call to your doctor's office to tell them why you're sick). It burns me up bad.

But in brighter news:

I've loved this though. They even prop up a bit! And I'm kinda ashamed it took me this long. I spent most of that time retrying better patterns that didn't look so... well, bad. But the last round the originals may have had an encounter with the vacuum clean and had to undergo replacement panels. *hides in corner*

sewing machine.

Yeah. After over 20 years of service, good old Singer busted for the last time tonight. Putting all of my sewing projects on hold. May it rest in wonderful peace.

Ok, some of you know, others of you don't, but for the sake of changing up the journal and letting you know where I am in life- I got a job!

I get to work in a BSL-3 lab! Testing Tuberculosis samples!

I know... I'm weird. But, you get a good feeling when you find a positive on a particularly bloody one. Gets treatment for people who really need it- ya know?

RANT ALERT- FEEL FREE TO IGNORE. Won't make much sense anyways.

Anyways- Lynchburg. Oh how I hate you. For the love of all things decent, if you've taken 2 hours to harvest lung tissue from a patient, do not place said sample in the cap of the blasted tube and crush it shut before throwing it in a bag with 23 other samples. Not only did you manage to almost contaminate 23 other samples with god knows what, but you wreaked my run. I had to stop mid way through 54 samples to make more tissue plates. You made me put off 32 people's samples for yours. They had to wait at a crucial step because I had to take 15 minutes to make up more stuff from scratch.

Not. Cool.

And it's not the first time you've managed to 'forget' to write down tissues on your requisitions (which are frequently empty...). 2 seconds. Just 2 seconds to write down what on earth is in that tube. Let's face it, I'm kinda at the point I'm going to start processing all of your unlabeled stuff as sputums. If I didn't care more for the patients than for your damn inability to write stuff down, I would. And twice I've gotten bloody tubes that could have been eviscerated tissue or bloody sputums! (they look remarkably alike). It's your patient, dude. Make sure they are getting the full treatment. 2 seconds. come on. Just write it on the tube.

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt? Since about middle schoolish.

  2. What does your username mean? It's a name I want to give a character of mine someday, so I didn't want anyone to steal it.

  3. Describe yourself in three words.  Science, art, and innovation.

  4. Are you left or right handed? Right handed for most, but left handed for abstract. Righty just doesn't do funky lines when it's grumpy.

  5. What was your first deviation? One long deleted. I don't even remember, given I've never uploaded much of my work.

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? Ooo, uh. Writing mostly. Drawings and doll as next.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Realism

  8. What was your first favourite? Something long stored now. It doesn't show up any more. But, this is my first known favorite :Domestic: by Peanuttie

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Loving stories or loving writings. It's gotta be good, make sense, and leave me with a feeling of quiet warmth.

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Peanuttie

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? My first commissioner, NexiaPrime

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Several have inspired me to try new styles. I can't name names, but a few here and there.

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? The computer or the needle.

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? Anywhere in the afternoon twilight or first light of dawn. Something about the color transition just makes me find my art. Even more when a strong science is in my life.

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? The day I uploaded Life Sized G1 Ravage Plush by AuroraBluewolf, because I found so many people who liked him in the next few weeks. It made me happy.
